Kristin Chauvin, AuD
Clinical Director
Doctor of Audiology

“
I’ve long felt a calling to pursue a career in healthcare. Initially, I was interested in speech pathology, but after one course on audiology, I had found my true calling. My interest in healthcare is actually a desire to help people. As a doctor of audiology, I have the pleasure of ‘giving hearing’ to people. And today’s technology, which is literally ‘booming,’ has made that easier with dramatic improvements in diagnosis and in hearing aids. Yet, excellent hearing care is about human interaction and relationships... and devotion to doing things well. It takes empathy and a strong desire for every person to feel they’ve received the best possible care and hearing solution.”
